This morning students and staff at the TLA College are celebrating another set of strong A Level and BTEC results. Of the students completing their exams this summer, 100% of those wanting to take up places at university are now in a position to start courses in September.

The Academy has a proud record of students going on to further studies and students are once again taking up offers at Universities, Colleges and workplaces across the country.

Senior Vice Principal, Indira Purushothaman, said:

“We are really proud of our students and what they have achieved in their A Level and BTEC results this year. Their results reflect their diligence and hard work, and we are delighted to see them moving on to university, apprenticeships and employment, and wish them every success for the future.”

Principal, Sarah Pringle, said:

“Results day is always such a special occasion as we celebrate with students and their families and see the excitement around next steps and plans for the future. It is an absolute pleasure to be able to recognise all the hard work, resilience and positivity of each cohort as they come to the end of this part of their educational journey.  Year 13 have  worked incredibly hard and been very appreciative of the care they have had from the whole sixth form team including the careers and pastoral advice which is such a strength at TLA.  We are delighted with the achievements of our sixth form students and wish them every good fortune and happiness for the future and look forward to hearing all about their hard work and successes.”
